As we get started into the New Year, many businesses are asking themselves what it will take to reach their goals in 2013?  One way is through mobile advertising.  Are you advertising on mobile yet?  If not, you should be!  startapp recently released a great infographic about advertisers on mobile.

There are a few key take aways that I found very informative.

  • Over 50% of mobile searches are local vs only 20% on the desktop
  • 84% of mobile restaurant seekers make a selection within a day and 64% of them convert within an hour
  • 2 out of 3 consumers claim they “notice mobile ads” whereas on desktop they just skip over them.
  • 1 out of 3 ad views results in a click

Statistics like this continuing to come out for mobile show that consumers are on mobile and they are looking to buy and connect with your business.
